Espen Knutsen

Espen Knutsen has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Espen currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Techstep since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the CISO at Gabler AS from June 2021 to March 2022. Espen also held multiple roles at Puzzel | Solving Customer Interactions, including Chief Information Security Officer from November 2019 to June 2021, Compliance Officer from December 2017 to November 2019, and IT & Security Manager from February 2008 to November 2017. Espen worked as a Senior IT Consultant at Cartagena AS from September 2007 to February 2008. Espen began their career as a System Administrator at Opera Software ASA, where they worked from September 2000 to August 2007. Prior to that, they worked as an Electronic Assembler at Maxeta AS from October 1997 to July 1999.

Espen Knutsen's education history includes two significant milestones. In 1999, they attended Treider College, where they pursued a degree in System Administration. Espen completed this program in the year 2000. Additionally, in the same year, Espen pursued self-study to obtain a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) degree, specializing in System Administration. This self-study period lasted for one year.

In terms of additional certifications, Espen Knutsen obtained the OneTrust Data Mapping Expert certification in October 2020, granted by OneTrust institution.
