Ryan Gates has a diverse work experience in the field of art and animation. Ryan started their career as a QA Tester at Volt and later worked as a Kinect Tagger at Microsoft. Ryan then joined DigiPen Institute of Technology as an Artist and Animator, where they contributed to a project for the Pacific Science Center. Ryan also worked independently as an Artist and Animator, specializing in 2D and 3D animation. Ryan further gained industry experience as an Associate Game Developer at Disney Interactive, where they were involved in animation and game design. Ryan later joined Allosaurus Games as an Illustrator and Techstyles Sportswear as Lead Production Artist. Ryan also worked as a Delivery Driver at Papa John's International and as a Freelance Artist & Animator for The Emerald Dragon. Throughout their career, Ryan has showcased their artistic skills and their ability to adapt to different projects and roles in the creative industry.
Ryan Gates obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Digital Art and Animation from DigiPen Institute of Technology in 2012. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Digital Arts and Animation from the same institute in 2012. Before attending DigiPen Institute of Technology, Ryan briefly attended Weber State University in 2005-2006. Furthermore, Ryan has a certification of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, obtained in 1999.
