TechTogether has a project to eliminate gender disparities in the hackathon community. They are recognized for helping to increase the number of women and non-binary persons participating in hackathons. They help people of all gender identities, including transgender women, cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary people, and people of allgender identities. Through their annual gender-focused hackathon, they hope to increase the access, awareness, and participation of these persons in transdisciplinary domains of technology.
