Jonathan Adey

Jonathan Adey is a Senior Manager at Hitachi Europe, where they lead business development in the Digital Solutions Group, focusing on innovative Internet of Things solutions for smart energy and mobility. With extensive experience in project management and funding, they previously served as a Director at Smarter Futures and as the Convergence Team Leader for Cornwall Council, ensuring the successful delivery of significant EU funding. Adey holds a Ph.D. in Fishing and Fisheries Sciences, an MSc with distinction in Marine Resource Development, and is a Chartered Scientist and Fellow of the Energy Institute. Additionally, they chair the Smart Cities Steering Board at techUK and have contributed to industry discussions as an expert evaluator for EU innovation programs.
