Director Program Management at Teclison

Chi-Wei Lu has held several positions in the medical field, beginning in 2008 as Director at the Stem Cell Core Facility at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2011, they became the Director of Research and Resident Scientist at the Child Health Institute of New Jersey at the Women's Health Institute at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In 2018, they were appointed Director of Clinical Research Science at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. In 2020, they became Associate Director of Clinical Research Scientist at Insmed Incorporated, and in 2022, they were appointed Director of Program Management at Teclison.

Chi-Wei Lu's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from National Taiwan University from 1990 to 1994. Chi-Wei then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Rutgers University from 1996 to 2003. Following this, they had two postdoctoral experiences, one at Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research from 2012 to 2013 in the field of Leukemia, oncology, and cell migration, and another at Harvard Medical School from 2013 to 2017 in stem cell biology and leukemia. Chi-Wei also holds a CCRP certification from SOCRA.
