Sofia Sousa

Sofia Sousa is a dedicated PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universidade de Coimbra, with extensive experience in pharmaceutical development. Currently working at Tecnimede Group since September 2019 as both a PhD student and a trainee in pharmaceutical development, Sofia previously completed a curricular internship at the same company, as well as an internship at Farmácia Lima. Sofia's early academic and professional journey includes a research trainee position at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra, where involvement in pharmacology and in vitro cell assays took place. Additionally, Sofia contributed to student organizations at the University of Coimbra, serving in various representative and collaborative roles. Educational achievements include a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade de Coimbra and language studies in English.
