Jon Barber

Jon Barber, Chart.PR MCIPR, currently serves as Vice President of Marketing Communications at TECOM Group in Dubai since October 2022. As Vice Chairman of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) since February 2018, Jon actively promotes the public relations industry in the region. Previously, Jon held key positions at ADNOC Distribution, leading corporate communications and participating as a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, as well as directing marketing and communications at ACWA Power and DAMAC Properties. Early in the career, Jon gathered extensive experience in communications management through roles at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Dubai World Trade Centre, Wallis, and the BBC. Jon holds a BA Honours degree in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University.
