Principal Engineer (forging)

Isaac Cogdill is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in forging and design. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Tecomet, Inc. since March 2025, Isaac focuses on process improvements, die design, and root cause analysis within medical device and aerospace programs. Prior to this role, Isaac was the Computer Aided Design System Manager at Stagecraft Industries, Inc., where responsibilities included supporting design workflows and automating CAD processes. With a background as a Manufacturing Engineer at Federal-Mogul Powertrain, Isaac contributed to hot forging process enhancements for engine valves, while earlier experience as a Design Engineer at James Thomas Engineering involved creating efficient structural touring rigs. Additionally, Isaac shared knowledge as an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, teaching drafting and design principles. Isaac holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Science from Middle Tennessee State University.
