Charles Schnake has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Charles started their career as an Aerospace Engineering Intern at Rolls-Royce in 2009, where they focused on inlet and exhaust design and assisted with certification reports. Charles then joined Rolls-Royce as a Turbine Structural Engineer in 2010, where they worked until 2013. Charles later transitioned to the role of Turbine Design Engineer at Rolls-Royce and stayed in that position until mid-2014.
In 2014, Charles joined Aerion Supersonic as a Sales Engineer for Aerion Technologies, where they worked until the end of 2017. Charles then served as a Business Development Manager for Aerion Technologies from 2018 to early 2019. From February 2019 to June 2020, they held the position of Director of Digital Marketing at Aerion Supersonic.
Currently, Charles is the Director of Customer Development at Tecplot, Inc., a position they have held since November 2020. In this role, they oversee an international team of sales, marketing, and operations professionals and is responsible for defining and executing strategies for organic growth, channel sales, and demand generation.
Charles Schnake has a strong educational background in the field of aerospace engineering. Charles obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University, studying from 2011 to 2014.
