Hector Artal

Hector Artal has extensive work experience in the field of software development and research. Hector currently holds the position of Senior Software Developer at Tecplot, Inc. since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Next Limit Technologies for over 12 years as a Software Developer in the RealFlow team. Before joining Next Limit Technologies, Hector worked at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, where they held various roles including Researcher and Software Developer in Astrophysics from January 2004 to December 2006. Hector also served as the Scientific Computing Center Administrator from August 2003 to January 2004.

Hector Artal holds a Master's degree in Astrophysics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they obtained from 2004 to 2005. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Licentiate degree in Theoretical Physics from the same university between 1998 and 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in August 2017.
