Jarrell Nelson

Jarrell Nelson worked as a Software Technical Support Specialist at Tecplot, Inc. starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at the University of Washington Medical Center from April 2010 to July 2022. In this role, they focused on energy homeostasis in the Diabetes and Obesity Center of Excellence, performing in vivo experimental procedures using various scientific techniques.

Jarrell Nelson completed a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology at Washington State University from 2003 to 2008.
