Cosimo Colonna

Cosimo Colonna has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cosimo began their career with Marina Militare Italiana, where they served as a Navigator and Communication head department in charge of planning and conducting submarine operations. Cosimo then served as an Executive Officer and Chief of the Operations Officer, responsible for crew discipline, safety, and security. Later, they became a Commanding Officer, overseeing the conduct, training efficiency, and morale of a warship and its crew.

In 2011, Cosimo transitioned to SpecTec, where they worked as a Project Manager, successfully delivering multiple software implementation projects on time and within budget. Cosimo was then promoted to Director of Professional Services, Americas, leading a team of technical resources, managing the delivery and implementation of asset management and ERP solutions across North and Latin America.

In 2015, Cosimo joined Tecsys Inc., first as a Project Manager, serving the healthcare industry in supply chain and self-distribution. Cosimo then took on the role of Project Portfolio Manager, bridging the gap between Sales and Pre-Sales teams to deliver exceptional value in supply chain management and services to healthcare organizations. In their most recent role as Senior Director Project Architecture and Delivery PMO, they architected complex enterprise software solutions, supported the sales team, and oversaw multiple large-scale software implementations in healthcare, complex distribution, and manufacturing verticals.

Throughout their career, Cosimo has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic guidance, and a focus on customer success. Cosimo has also been involved in business development, team establishment, and best-practice implementation.

Cosimo Colonna's education history includes a Master's degree in Maritime and Naval Science Studies from Accademia Navale, which they completed from 1994 to 1998. Cosimo also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Università di Pisa during the same time period.

In 2002, Cosimo attended Accademia Navale again, specializing in Advanced Submarine Warfare Sonar and Underwater Weapons Officer for Submarines, focusing on underwater acoustics.

Before this, in 1991 to 1994, they attended Scuola Navale Francesco Morosini, a Military Naval High School, where they studied subjects such as math, calculus, and technical high school courses.

In terms of additional certifications, Cosimo obtained a Staff Officer certification in Military and Strategic Leadership from the Navy Institute for Military Studies in 2008. Cosimo also holds certifications in Underwater Acoustics Advanced from Marina Militare Italiana in 2005 and Google Analytics from Google in 2020. Additionally, they received certifications as a Commanding Officer from Marina Militare Italiana in 2008.
