Alison Cornyn is a Project Director at Incorrigibles, leading a transmedia documentary initiative focused on juvenile justice and social services for girls since November 2014. Additionally, Cornyn serves as a TED Resident, where a TED Talk titled "Rediscovering Wayward Girls" was presented. As a faculty member at SVA Design for Social Innovation, Cornyn contributes to an MFA program that emphasizes social engagement through design. Cornyn is the President and Creative Director of Picture Projects Inc and is also the Founder/Director of the Prison Public Memory Project. Other roles include Creative Director for the Guantánamo Public Memory Project and States of Incarceration. Cornyn previously held a position as Creative Director and part-time lecturer at Parsons School of Design and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program. Educational credentials include an MFA from Hunter College, an MPS from New York University, and a BA from Connecticut College.
