Design Lead at TED Conferences

Casey Walter has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Casey began their career as a Junior Designer at USIS from 2004 to 2006. Subsequently, they worked as a Design Intern at Unboundary from September 2007 to March 2008. Casey then freelanced at Watson & Company as a Designer from December 2008 to October 2009. Casey then joined Jazz at Lincoln Center as a Designer in December 2008, later progressing to Senior Designer from September 2011 to July 2014, and ultimately serving as Design Director from July 2014 to December 2015. In 2016, they started their own venture, Casey Walter Design, where they work as an Independent Creative. Additionally, they have held various freelance roles, including Freelance Designer at Friends of the High Line from August 2016 to March 2018, and Freelance Art Director at Pilotworks from April 2018 to October 2018. Currently, they are employed as the Design Lead at TED Conferences, a role they have held since April 2023.

Casey Walter attended Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Design. Prior to that, Casey completed a BFA in Painting at PennWest Edinboro from 1998 to 2003.
