Dan Meyer

Dan Meyer has over two decades of experience as an author and performer, currently serving as an author for Schiffer Publishing with works including "To The Hilt: A Sword Swallower’s History of Sword Swallowing" and an upcoming book titled “Doing the Impossible, Swallowing the Sword, Cutting through Fear.” As a global TEDx speaker, Dan has delivered presentations at numerous prestigious institutions such as Harvard, MIT, and Oxford, and holds the distinction of a Golden Buzzer Finalist on Talang Sweden’s Got Talent. In addition to performances at Oktoberfest, Dan has received the 2007 Ig Nobel Prize in Medicine for contributions to the history and science of sword swallowing and has participated in multiple international speaking engagements and translation projects. With a background in entertainment business and music, Dan continues to inspire audiences to overcome fear and embrace the impossible.
