Derek Young

Derek Young is a seasoned professional in the video game industry with extensive experience in creative and artistic roles. As Co-founder and Creative & Artistic Director at Charm Games since April 2015, Derek has contributed to the development of immersive Virtual Reality experiences, notably the first-person puzzle game FORM. Derek also works with TED Conferences, assisting speakers and presenters with their materials. Earlier, Derek founded Troubledot Media Inc., served as Product Director at YMC Network and Eruptive Games, and held key roles at Sanity Check Entertainment Inc. and Radical Entertainment, including leading shader artistry for titles like "Prototype." Derek's educational background includes studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
