Li Li is an experienced translator and market strategist with a strong background in linguistics. Currently employed at Amara Subtitles since September 2014 as a Translator, Li actively participates in translating subtitles for a diverse range of videos. As a TED Translator since February 2012, Li has successfully translated 58 TED talks from English to Chinese. Prior roles include serving as a Chinese Market Development Strategist at StudentUniverse, where Li analyzed language data to enhance marketing initiatives for Chinese-speaking markets, and as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Travel Tao, Ltd, focusing on social media management and content creation. Li also served as an ESL Tutor at UMass Boston, assisting students with their reading and writing skills. Li holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's degree in TESL from Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University.
