Tom Carter

Tom Carter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and transcription across various industries. Currently serving as a Quality Analyst at Veterans Evaluation Services since January 2020, Tom has also been a long-term contributor to TED Conferences since July 2007, fulfilling roles such as writer, editor, project manager, and transcriber. Previous positions include researcher for the Masters of Scale podcast, transcriber for GlobalXplorerº and Discovery Communications, and content writer for AudioLink Services. Tom has a diverse background as the owner of Wholly Other and has held managerial roles at Half Price Books, alongside a tenure as an audio engineer with Epistrophy Arts. Tom holds a B.A. in English and History from the University of Houston.
