Like the city itself, TEDxMelbourne brings together a diverse group of people to share ideas, knowledge and inspiration. A series of events are held throughout the year featuring live speakers and TED Talk videos combining to spark deep discussion, connection and thought.

Our events are held in iconic Melbourne venues such as the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, State Library of Victoria and Melbourne Recital Centre with themes including design, education, innovation, technology, youth, TEDxWomen and the city.

Past speakers include: Ronni Kahn, Rone, Liz Broaderick, Cathy Foley, Lisa Leong, Electric Fields

ABOUT TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED created TEDx where x = independently organised TED event. Our event program is called TEDxMelbourne.

TED provides general guidance for the TEDx program globally, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.
