Mark Kamau

Mark Kamau is an accomplished accountant with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is currently pursuing a qualification with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. Mark's professional experience includes a current role as an Accountant at Teekay since December 2022, and prior positions at Niradia Group of Companies as a Junior AP, Destination Auto Group as an Accounting Clerk, Panther Precision Machine as a Parts Driver and Shop Labourer, and Canfor as a Junior Accountant (Co-op). During these roles, Mark has developed expertise in financial statement preparation, variance analysis, accounts payable, journal entries, and collaboration with external auditors, among other accounting responsibilities.
