Nils Johannessen

Nils Johannessen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Nils started their career in 1989 as a Førstekonsulent at Det Kongelige Sosialdepartement and later worked as a Kontorsjef at Helsedirektoratet. Nils then served as a Byråsjef at Det Kongelige Sosialdepartement before taking on the role of Underdirektør at Statens helsetilsyn. In 1994, they worked as a Personalsjef at Direktoratet for naturforvaltning / The Norwegian Directorate for Nature Management. Nils then transitioned to the role of HR Manager Offshore & Marine at Golar Nor Offshore in 1998. Nils subsequently served as an HR Director at PGS before joining Teekay Corporation as the Vice President of HR, IT & Administration in 2005, a position they still hold.

Nils Johannessen attended the University of Oslo from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Cand. Jur degree in Hovedfag. In 1981 to 1982, they also attended Befalskolen for Infanteriet, however, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
