Peter Evensen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the shipping and finance sectors. Since May 2003, Peter has held the positions of Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Teekay Corporation. Prior to joining Teekay, Peter worked at JPMorgan Chase from February 1983 to April 2003, where Peter served as Managing Director and Head of Global Shipping, with assignments in Oslo and London. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College, earned between 1976 and 1980.
