Rodrigo, Jr. Canja has extensive experience in the maritime recruitment industry, currently serving as a Marine Personnel Officer at Teekay since March 2014, where responsibility includes crew recruitment for Crude Oil and Shuttle Tankers and liaising with government agencies within the manning industry. Previously, Rodrigo held the position of Recruitment Coordinator at Teekay, focusing on recruitment for the TK fleet, and served as a Recruitment Officer at Sealanes Marine Services, Inc./Manpower Resources of Asia, Inc. from February 2010 to March 2014, where the role involved sourcing qualified seafarers for various vessels. Earlier in the career, Rodrigo worked as Chief Documentations Officer at NYK Line from November 2002 to August 2009, managing crew documentation. Rodrigo holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management and a Post Baccalaureate degree in Management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
