Kat Walker has significant work experience in the design industry. Kat started their career as a Print Design Intern at JRC London in 2015, where they worked closely with the design team to create prints for highstreet clients. Kat then interned as a Design Intern at Tatty Devine before joining Clio Peppiatt as a Fashion Intern. In 2016, they became a Print Design Intern at JRC London again. Later that year, they joined Blackstone Design Ltd as a Print Designer for the Topshop brand Tee & Cake, where they were responsible for trend research, designing innovative prints, sourcing fabrics, and managing the brand's Instagram account. In 2018, they became the Head of Graphics for the brand Spill the Tea, where they led the graphics team and worked on seasonal accessories and apparel collections. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Freelance Designer, primarily collaborating with small brands on print design, CAD and shape, promotional/website graphics, and social media. In 2021, they worked as a Lead Designer at Upload Printing and Upload Merchandise. Currently, they are working as a Digital Illustrator at Teemill Tech Ltd.
Kat Walker attended two institutions for their education. From 2010 to 2011, they studied at Brighton MET and Northbrook College, where they earned a Foundation degree in Fashion and Textile Design. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion and Textile Design with a specialization in Printed Textiles at the University of Southampton.
