Daniel Lyons

Daniel Lyons is a seasoned media executive with extensive experience in sales strategy and development, currently serving as the Senior Vice President at TEGNA since 2006. In this role, Daniel leads efforts to achieve company revenue goals across various business units, oversees local and national sales initiatives, and directs recruitment and sales operations. Prior to TEGNA, Daniel was a Vice President at KHOU-TV BELO, where significant traditional and digital media revenue was generated, and the station became a top billing Digital Television station in the U.S. Daniel's earlier roles include Group Vice President of Sales at New York Times Broadcast Group and various leadership positions at iHeartMedia and Clear Channel Communications. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Communications and Marketing from Brigham Young University.
