David Boyd is the Regional Head of Technology and Operations for TEGNA broadcast stations, a position held since April 2009. Prior to this role, David served as the Regional Director of Technology for KING and KGW, focusing on equipment, operations, maintenance, capital planning, and technical strategy. David's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Technology at KGW, overseeing technology teams, facility management, and tenant leasing, as well as functioning as the Assistant Director of Technology at WFAA-TV, where responsibilities encompassed capital planning and IT operations. David began career at Texas Cable News as Chief Engineer, launching one of the first digital broadcast facilities.
