David Guildford is an accomplished reporter currently working at TEGNA since October 2021, recognized with the 2023 regional Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in writing and the 2023 Maine Association of Broadcasters Award for public service. Previously, from August 2018 to August 2021, David served as a multimedia journalist at Charter Communications, winning the 2021 SPJ Louisville Award for environmental reporting and contributing to the launch of Spectrum News in Kentucky. David's earlier experience includes anchoring and producing the top-rated news program at WVII/WFVX Bangor and completing an internship at NEWS CENTER Maine Media, where skills in news gathering and reporting were developed. David holds a degree from the University of Maine, obtained between 2010 and 2015.
