Josiah Smith

Josiah Smith is an experienced visual journalist and storyteller with a strong background in cinematography and film/video production. Currently employed at TEGNA since September 2021, Josiah has held multiple roles including visual journalist, photographer, editor, and production assistant with expertise in audio, camera, graphics, teleprompter, and floor directing operations. Additionally, Josiah serves as a wedding videographer for Lynn Productions, having completed 20 weddings to date. Previous experience includes a videographer internship at Arkansas State University Mid-South focusing on basketball game coverage and an internship as a camera operator at New Direction Christian Church. Josiah holds an Associate's degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Arkansas State University Mid-South, completed in 2021.
