Ty Brooks

Ty Brooks is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as an Accounting Supervisor at TEGNA since July 2017, Ty is responsible for evaluating and improving department controls, managing a team of accountants, and enhancing efficiency through data-driven analysis. Prior to this role, Ty held positions at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. and Media General, contributing to the monthly accounting close process and contract analysis, respectively. Ty's career began at LIN Media and further expanded at Target, where management skills were developed. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Longwood University and a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University.
