At Teja Food Group, we’re more than a supplier. We’re a trusted partner in food innovation, reliability, and growth. What began in 1992 as a small commissary kitchen supporting regional multi-unit accounts has evolved into a diverse and fast-growing Canadian food company with a portfolio of leading brands and a passion for pushing the industry forward.

We strive every day to deliver real value through quality products, consistent service, and peace of mind. Our partners count on us for excellence at every step, from sourcing to logistics, because we show up with integrity, precision, and care.

Through strategic growth and smart acquisitions, we’ve expanded far beyond our original kitchen. Today, Teja Food Group includes brands like Cedar Bay Grilling (seasoned salmon planks), Echelon Foods (the iconic Turducken), The Backyard Boil (all in one seafood kits), and Canadian Trade House (convenience store). Each brand reflects our commitment to culinary creativity and operational execution at the store level.

Whether we’re supporting a national retailer, convenience chain, or launching a new innovative product for food service, we act as true partners. We listen, solve problems, and go the extra mile. We don’t just follow trends. We help set them.

Backed by decades of experience, our team brings deep industry knowledge without the ego. We communicate clearly, move quickly, and share honest insights that make a difference. No jargon. No fluff. Just thoughtful, straightforward support.

Above all, we care. About our food. About our partners. About our people and the communities, we serve. That commitment runs through everything we do and always will.
