Kent Smart

Kent Smart has an extensive work history that spans several companies and roles. Kent began their career at Johnson Controls, Inc. in 1983, where they served as a Plant Manager for eight years. Kent then moved on to Lear Corporation in 1991, where they held the same position until 1997. After that, Kent joined Kao Information Systems as the Director of Operations for two years. In 1999, they became the General Manager at Zomax Incorporated, a role they held until 2002. In that same year, Kent started their own company called Smart Security Solutions, Inc. and served as the Owner. Most recently, they joined Tek84 Inc. in 2018 as the Director of North American Sales, and in 2021, they were promoted to the Vice President of Domestic Sales.

Kent Smart earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982.
