After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, David went to work for Lockheed Martin as a Manufacturing Engineer where he was responsible for maintaining the engineering configuration for tooling utilized to develop the nation’s top fighter aircraft. As his career developed, he faced further challenging opportunities, such as developing and managing projects that required full product line integration where he conceptualized and developed the product tooling, and worked with vendors and product suppliers to develop a streamlined manufacturing processes.
Upon receiving a strategy and entrepreneurship MBA from SMU, Mr. Carter’s role at Lockheed Martin was expanded to managing a team of manufacturing engineers. The team was tasked with integrating projects designed to reduce the amount of time and cost to produce the aircraft. He was at Lockheed Martin for fourteen years before making the transition to TekConcierge.
