Ashok Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ashok started their career at Advantech in 2014, where they worked as a Product Sales Engineer, responsible for Microsoft sales and distribution in Advantech India. Ashok also gained experience in sales, marketing, and technical support, specializing in IT hardware, IoT Solutions, and customer relationship management. In 2019, they joined Tekion Corp as an Application Engineer, providing support to customers in the US from the Bangalore office. Ashok provided application support over email, phone, and Zoom, addressing application and infrastructure issues reported by customers. Later, they were promoted to the role of Lead Application Support Engineer.

Ashok Kumar completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Communication Systems from Sethu Institute of Technology in the years 2012-2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Kalasalingam University from 2008-2012. Ashok completed their +2 degree in maths-computer science from PKN Higher Secondary School during the years 2006-2008. Before that, Ashok completed their higher equivalent in maths from Pansy Vidayalaiya Matriculation School in 2005-2006. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in CISCO CCNA from Cisco and BRITISH ENGLISH COUNCIL from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2011.
