Jouko Nikula

Jouko Nikula started their work experience in 1998 as a Senior Design Engineer/Test Engineer at Tellabs, where they were responsible for production test planning and product design reviews. After that, they worked as a Trainee and Thesis worker at EADS Secure Networks Oy in 2007. Following that, they worked at Espotel Oy as a Software Designer and later as a Senior Software Designer, where they specialized in embedded Linux software development and design. In 2014, they founded MailPriva Oy, where they worked on email service architecture, design, and implementation. In 2016, they joined Etteplan as a Senior Software Designer/Scrum Master, leading teams in developing an Android application for mission-critical communications. Jouko also worked as a line manager, scrum master, and software developer in Android application development at Etteplan. Currently, they are the Head of the Design Team at Teknoware.

Jouko Nikula completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences in 2000. Jouko then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Jyväskylä, which they completed in 2007.
