Rob Podoloff

Rob Podoloff has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of technology, engineering, and product development. Rob has held various leadership roles in different companies throughout their career.

Rob started their career as a Systems Engineer at Automatix in 1983. Rob then co-founded Tekscan, Inc. in 1984, where they served as the Director of Engineering and played a crucial role in developing patented tactile sensor technology. Rob also managed the design and production of testing equipment.

In 1992, Rob joined Force Imaging Technologies, Inc. as the Director of R&D. Rob designed and supervised the manufacturing of UniForce sensor products and managed various engineering activities.

From 2000 to 2006, Rob founded and served as the Founder, President, and CTO of Slingshot Game Technology, Inc. Rob was responsible for all aspects of product development and provided overall technical direction.

Rob then worked as a Senior Consultant at Product Genesis, Inc. from 2003 to 2008. Rob managed projects for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, focusing on project management and technical contributions.

From 2005 to 2010, Rob co-founded Zeemote, Inc. and served as the CTO. Rob was responsible for the initial product conceptualization, intellectual property development, and provided support to manufacturing efforts.

In 2010, Rob became the CTO at ID8-Mobile, where they played a crucial role in overseeing the technical direction of the accessories division and acting as a liaison between US and China-based teams.

From 2013 to 2015, Rob served as the Chief Technical Officer at IPSUMM Inc, leading the company's technical direction, product development, and representation at industry events.

Since 2015, Rob has taken on two roles simultaneously. Rob has been a Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, teaching and instructing students in the capstone product design course for seniors in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Rob has been the Chief Technology Officer at Tekscan, overseeing the company's technology development and improving existing product lines.
