David Allen

David Allen has over 37 years of experience in the technology industry. David began their career in 1983 as a Design Engineer at Forney Corporation. In 1988, they moved to Decibel Products as a Sr. Design Engineer, where they became the sole inventor of several patents. In 2000, they took a role as a Software Specialist at Enfora Inc., where they wrote embedded layer 1 GPS device driver on a Hitachi SH3 7708 processor. In 2001, they moved to Texas Instruments as a Sr. Software Engineer, managing the packaging and deployment of 2.5G and 3G multimedia applications for mobile devices. In 2005, they became the President/CEO of DBI LLC, where they ran an eCommerce home based business for 13 years. In 2015, they joined Splunxter, Inc. as a Certified Splunk Consultant and in 2020, they became a Sr. Certified Splunk Consultant at TekStream Solutions.

David Allen has a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science Engineering and a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau University - Longview Texas. David also holds five certifications from Splunk, including a Splunk Core Certified Power User (obtained in May 2021 and November 2020), a Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin (obtained in May 2021), a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect (obtained in May 2021), and a Splunk Certified Developer (obtained in May 2019).
