Karl Cepull

Karl Cepull has an extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. Karl began their career in 1985 as an Intern at International Business Machines. In 1988, they moved to Westinghouse Power Generation as a Software Engineer, where they led a corporate-level team responsible for the design, implementation, and support of a Lotus Notes infrastructure. In 1996, they joined Walt Disney Imagineering as a Project Team Leader, responsible for a team of programmer/analysts, graphics designer, and contractors. In 1998, they were appointed Director, Hotel Operations Technologies at IHG, where they led multiple development teams and was responsible for the award-winning GreenEngage application. In 1999, they became Owner/President of K-Squared Computing, LLC, where they designed, developed, and implemented an e-commerce web site. In 2011, they joined Function1, Inc. as a Senior Consultant, working with a variety of customers to strategize, build, and implement custom solutions. Finally, in 2013, they moved to TekStream Solutions as Vice President, Operational Intelligence, and held various roles until their current position.

Karl Cepull obtained their MBA, BS, and AA in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Karl also attended Oak Ridge High School. Karl has obtained numerous certifications from Splunk, Oracle, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including a Train the Trainer: Splunk Fundamentals 2 certification in July 2021, a Transitioning to Splunk Cloud certification in April 2021, a Splunk Certified Consultant II certification in December 2016, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in September 2021.
