Stephen Ferstel

Stephen Ferstel, CISSP, has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT support, beginning as a Cybersecurity Intern at (ISC)² in 2015 and progressing to roles such as Computer Lab Technician at Hillsborough Community College and Associate Security Analyst at Digital Hands. In the latter position, Stephen led shift activities, triaged alerts, and provided mentorship while monitoring network security. Following digital security roles at deepwatch and TekStream Solutions, Stephen has developed a robust skill set in network analysis, incident response, and security systems management. Educational achievements include an Associate of Science in Network Administration from Hillsborough Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State University. Stephen received the 2017 Q4 Security Specialist Performance Award and has held various managerial positions, notably as Store Manager at Walgreens, overseeing multi-million dollar retail operations and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
