WALTERS ITIE

Walters ITIE has three years of experience in cyber security. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Cyber Security Analyst at TekStream Solutions. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Cyber Security (SOC) Analyst at Montgomery County Government, where they were responsible for performing active real-time security monitoring and investigation of corporate network by analyzing firewall logs, Full Packet Capture (PCAP), IDS alerts, anti-malware alerts, Host Intrusion Prevent System (HIPS), server and application logs. WALTERS also conducted security event research and analysis, performed validation, triage of validated incidents and worked with teams to analyze, triage, contain, and remediate security incidents. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at SECU.

WALTERS ITIE is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus. WALTERS holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Buea. In June 2022, they obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
