Jacques Mbede

Jacques Mbede is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Director of Project Management at TEKsystems since August 2018, Jacques leads a significant program for Verizon's 5G planning and fiber deployment, overseeing a team of over 90 engineers and project managers nationwide. Prior roles include Senior Regional Project Director at ZTE Corporation, managing turnkey projects across 26 countries in the Caribbean and Central America, and Director of Project Operations at Ericsson, where Jacques handled large-scale IT and telecommunications deployments for major clients in North America. Earlier in his career, Jacques served as Chief Technology Officer at Nokia, overseeing network management and deployment projects in several African nations, including a significant initiative to launch Nigeria's first UMTS 3G network. Jacques holds an Executive Education in Accounting and Finance from Harvard University, an MBA from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from Polytechnic Engineering University.
