Gary Chen

Gary Chen is a seasoned System Engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Currently employed at NetScout/Tektronix since September 2006, Gary holds VMware Certified Professional credentials and has played a pivotal role in deploying advanced network monitoring systems for major telecom providers such as T-Mobile and Sprint. Previous experience includes roles at Danaher Corporation, where Gary contributed to system engineering efforts, and consulting for Star Point Solution, where responsibilities encompassed fixed and wireless network monitoring. Early career highlights include engineering positions at NEC Unified Solutions, Marconi Communication, and Nokia Networks, specializing in integration testing and field support. Gary holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and has also served as an instructor in the Computer Science Department at Tarrant County Junior College.
