Martin Coote

Martin Coote has a diverse work experience in the field of design and development. Martin started their career in 2008 as a Creative Artworker at Gendall Design, where they supported the creative team in producing production-ready artwork for various applications. In 2011, they became a Freelance Graphic Designer and Developer, working with private clients and design agencies on print and digital design projects.

In 2014, Martin worked part-time as a Web Designer/Developer at fffunction, gaining valuable insights and skills in IA/UX design, prototyping, front and back-end development, and version control. Martin continued freelancing until 2017, collaborating with design and development agencies, and working with notable clients such as Seasalt and Nixon.

From 2017 to 2019, Martin worked as a Front End Developer at Torchbox, where they developed the front end for various sites using Django/Wagtail, following Atomic Design principles. Martin collaborated with back end developers to ensure functionality, compliance, and accessibility.

In 2019, Martin joined The Developer Society as a Front End Developer, contributing their expertise until 2022. Currently, they work as a Senior Front End Developer at Telcom, where they continue to demonstrate their skills and contribute to the company's projects.

From 2001 to 2004, Martin Coote attended the University for the Creative Arts. Martin pursued a degree in Photography and Media Arts during this time.
