Tom Devlin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tom started their career as a Trainee Engineer at A.F. Budge (Contractors) Ltd in 1988. From 1996 to 2003, they worked as a Despatch Foreman at +GF+ George Fischer Automotive Castings. Tom then joined Sky as a Sky in-home installer from 2003 to 2006.

Tom then joined LIGHT SOURCE in 2015, where they initially worked as a Network Engineer, providing telephone lines to business and domestic properties and installing fiber to the home via overhead and underground networks. From 2016 to 2020, they served as an Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing up to 14 teams of overhead fiber engineers for the provision of fiber to the home on behalf of KCOM in Hull.
In 2020, Tom transitioned to Morrison Telecom Services as a Premium Services Supervisor, a role in which they supervised premium services and managed operations related to them. This position lasted until 2021.
Most recently, Tom joined Netomnia in 2021 as an Installation Manager (South), overseeing the installation operations in the southern region. Tom held this role until 2022, before moving on to their current position as an FTTP Operations Manager at Telcom.
