Ove Wik

Ove Wik has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ove is currently the Head of CTIO Office at Tele2 since May 2021. Prior to that, they founded their own company, Ove.Wik AB, in 2019.

From 2015 to 2020, Ove worked at VEON as the Head of Digital enablement, leading the digital transformation of the company and its OpCo's. Ove was responsible for planning, goal setting, vendor selection, and implementation.

Before VEON, Ove was the Head of program technology Project Uprising US at Ericsson in 2014, and the Director of Business Transformation at Orange Switzerland from 2013 to 2014. At Orange Switzerland, they led the reengineering of business processes, organization, and staffing, as well as the replacement and migration of BSS systems.

From 2010 to 2013, Ove served as the VP International Roaming and BSS management at TeliaSonera Mobility Services. Prior to that, they worked at Yoigo as the Vice President COO, where they played a crucial role in the start-up phase of the company and later oversaw product management and development, customer operations, billing, collection and fraud, and logistics.

Ove's earlier experience includes roles at TeliaSonera, where they served as the Director of Broadband Business and the Product Management and Development Director of VAS Services Sweden. Ove also worked at Skanova as the Marketing Director Wholesale.

Throughout their career, Ove has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving transformation and achieving business goals.

Ove Wik obtained a degree in Engineer Telecommunications from Umeå/Falun, specializing in Telecommunication Operations.
