John C. has a diverse work history that spans various industries and roles. In 2004, they worked as a Systems Information Specialist Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, where they designed an intelligence-web-based application. In 2006, they joined Alereon as a Senior Systems Validation Engineer, responsible for testing ultrawideband devices. John then moved on to SMSC, where they served as a Principal Applications Engineer, managing connectivity product lines. At Zilog, they held multiple positions, including Technical Marketing Manager and Staff Field Applications Engineer, focusing on security product lines. John also worked as a Sr. Technical Marketing Manager at SMSC, managing a $90M product portfolio. In 2018, John became a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice President at Moore's Crossing M.U.D., steering the organization towards sustainability. John joined the International Accelerator as a Sr. Mentor, helping foreign-born entrepreneurs establish their ventures in the U.S. In 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at QuantumSine, a startup focusing on energy-efficient solutions. John C. has a diverse education history. John started their education at Forest Hill High School, where they completed their high school education between 1986 and 1990. After that, they attended the University of Florida from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). John further pursued their education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2001, where they completed a postgraduate program in Electrical Engineering. Later on, John C. enrolled at New York University from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Master's degree in Bioinformatics. In addition to their formal education, they achieved an ITU-T Rapporteur Training certification from ITU-T (United Nations Intergovernmental Telecommunication Standardization Bureau) & Pearlfisher International in September 2012.
