Fernando Herrera

Fernando Herrera is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Telecentro since March 2006. Over the years, Fernando has held various leadership roles, including CTIO and Vice President, where responsibilities included aligning technology roadmaps and overseeing engineering, technology, R+D, and PMO departments. Significant achievements include spearheading the migration of IP/MPLS backbone infrastructures and enhancing operational efficiency. Fernando also has a background in academia as a Jefe de Trabajos Prácticos at UADE, teaching telecommunications engineering subjects, and has previously worked with Iplan Telecommunications and NCR Argentina in engineering roles. Fernando holds an MBA from IAE Business School and multiple degrees in telecommunications and electronics from UADE and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
