Adel Hamed

Adel Hamed is a seasoned professional in the field of information and communication technology, currently serving as the Deputy ICT Minister for Global Information Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt since April 2023. With a career at Telecom Egypt spanning over two decades, Adel Hamed has held various senior roles including Board Member, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Chief International and Wholesale Officer, and has progressed through numerous positions such as Senior Director of Domestic Wholesale and Network Engineer. Adel Hamed holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Helwan University Cairo, attained between 1992 and 1996.
