Conor Friel

Conor Friel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Conor is currently the CTO Enterprise Health Services at Telefónica Tech UK&I, starting in October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technical Architect at Novosco, where they held this role from May 2019. Conor also worked as a Solutions Architect at Novosco from October 2017 to May 2019. Before joining Novosco, Conor was a Solutions Architect at Capita from April 2016 to October 2017. Conor began their career at Fujitsu in the UK and Ireland, where they held the role of Senior Solutions Architect from November 2013 to April 2016 and Solutions Architect from March 2011 to October 2013. Conor also has experience working as a Senior Consultant at Equiniti from March 2007 to March 2011 and as a Systems Administrator at Countrywide Freight Group from February 2004 to March 2007.

Conor Friel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Saint Malachy's College Belfast from 1991 to 1998, but did not obtain a degree. Conor has also obtained several certifications, including Professional Membership from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015 and VMware VCP 5.0 from VMware in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained multiple Microsoft certifications related to server administration and SharePoint configuration between 2010 and 2012. Conor also holds a CompTIA Network + certification from 2006 and a Diploma in Management from the Chartered Management Institute in 2004.
