Vimal Singh

Vimal Singh has extensive experience in the IT sector, primarily within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as the Head of IT for the West Region in Mumbai Circle at UNINOR (Telenor group - Norway) since January 2010, Vimal successfully managed the launch of mobile services across three circles and oversees IT operations including budgeting, cost optimization, and infrastructure management. Previously, Vimal worked at IBM as Head IT for Vodafone Gujarat Circle, where responsibilities included developing IT applications and managing a datacenter for over 1000 employees. Vimal’s earlier roles included leading the rollout of Virgin Mobile India IT operations at TATA Teleservices and managing IT for Enron OPO, where key projects involved modernizing legacy systems. Vimal holds a BSc in IT from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and a diploma in computers technology from Bombay Institute of Technology.
