Roberto Granato has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Roberto started working as a Software Engineer at Urmet SPA in Rome in 1996, where they primarily focused on developing control systems for telephone networks. During this time, they worked on developing Graphic User Interfaces, communication protocols, and database architectures. In 2002, Roberto joined RESI S.p.A as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Principal Software Engineer/Technical Project Leader in the Network Platform division. Roberto designed and developed hardware/software solutions for Network Monitoring, Load Balancing, and Deep Packet Inspection using Linux on Intel CPU and Cavium Octeon environment. Roberto also gained expertise in Intel's Data Plane Development Kit and developed network traffic analysis applications. Additionally, they acquired knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP stack, and various application protocols. In 2016, Roberto joined Telensa as a Senior software engineer.

Roberto Granato has a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Sapienza Università di Roma. In the year 2000, they attended SDA Bocconi to study Data Warehousing and generation of knowledge, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
